I’m glad you’re enjoying watching the progress 🙂 Yes, it’s very true about smaller homes! That’s a definite perk. I also spent very little (I think $20 a fixtures?) when we originally replaced all of the “boob lights” – plus I thrifted the one in the bedroom – so my lighting budget has remained pretty small. I only ever splashed out on the dining room light. I’m hoping this one brings me as much joy as the dining room light has – it really has set the mood for the space!

Since our budget doesn’t run to a makeover, I’m loving this vicarious experience of the update in your home! You’ve always chosen wonderful light fixtures — both for design and for actual illumination value. One of the great advantages of a smaller house is that you can spend on one light fixture instead of three. I hope the dream light turns out to be perfect for the kitchen.

Yep, we still have snow. I think it’s finally melting though. I never thought I’d be so excited about appliances haha.

You still have snow on the ground?

That certainly is a sexy looking fridge! And now I feel like the middle age person I am getting excited by appliances.

We did smaller versions of the same spot lights in our kitchen and I am very pleased.
