Such funny timing – Hubs and I were JUST there installing some baseboard trim until midnight tonight, lol. My Mom kept telling us to go home, and I told her I can't because I need to share the reveal on the blog! The cabinets, counters, and floors are done but the trim needs some touch up/paint and I'm still waiting on backsplash tiles. My Mom is almost leaning toward just going without, we've been waiting for weeks and weeks. We ordered a wood table top for a tulip base she stole from me and I just need to monkey with the edge to make it look a little more MCM. Then stain or paint it, but we already recovered a pair of vintage teak chairs in the summer. I also need to re-work the hideous DIY art I made, haha. We're in the home stretch! Some stuff we ordered slowed our progress, but we're getting there…

Aren't they the cutest? My Mom's plants are loving the kitchen light. She has all of my vintage pink McCoy planters so we'll be using them to add some color to her kitchen.

Faucets definitely see a lot of wear and tear, so it's nice to upgrade once in awhile. I'm sure your wife would love this – BOTH my Mom and Dad are really thrilled with it.
