I can appreciate the bacon offering- you were given a gift of meat from a man. It doesn't get more meaningful than that ; ) My hubby just paid me a high compliment, too. While discussing father's day plans with the kids he told me, I don't really need to do anything special, you take care of me everyday. A single comment of appreciation can have a big impact- not hollywood rom/com material but appreciated by real women everywhere. Love those 'after' faucets- water spots are the bane of my bathroom. I hate when you can't tell that you just cleaned the entire room. I have a similar problem with water spots on the kitchen sink/counter- we have the IKEA stainless steel one-piece sink and countertop and sloshed water accumulates & runs along the counter from the taps. I love the stainless steel but we get mineral deposits where the water sits and runs along. If I were a single woman living alone, never would be a problem. But since I'm the only one to wipe up the water if it splashes/sloshes onto the counter, it does collect and sit on the stainless. I finally found that Lemi-shine dishwasher additive (for mineral buildup on glassware) is excellent for scrubbing off the stubborn stuff. No elbow grease required and it leaves it all sparkly and new. Quite satisfying for the cleaner of the house.
